YES - You can add more smart devices as long as they are either TUYA or ZIGBEE 3.0 based. Our VIVOE App is built on the TUYA platform and operates with any TUYA branded product.

Obviously any VIVOE  branded product will work without issue.

Devices are added by opening the app and looking for an "Add Device" or "+" icon. The app will then guide you through connecting your new device, typically involving putting the device into a "pairing" mode and confirming its connection in the app

We use Zigbee 3.0 system which makes your smart lighting resilient if your internet connection is lost because it uses a "mesh network".

This means that devices communicate directly with each other or with a central hub locally, without needing to send every command to a cloud server over the internet.

So, even if your internet goes down, your smart lights will continue to work. This local control also helps reduce delays, making your system more responsive.

Visitors who are unfamiliar with your SmartSystem should have no issues if you use a Control Hub as a well designed system will have obvious routines like “Bedtime” or “Lights off” plus well designed automations mean that should not really notice the lighting as things just "happen".

Remember you can still have switches. If you want a more impressive solution then you can send the visitor a link to download the VIVOE app and set them up with a Visitor profile where they have a simplified range of options all selectable from their phone!

An automation is a simple rule that allows your smart devices to work together seamlessly — no manual control required. You decide the conditions, and your system takes care of the rest.

For example, you might set your lights to switch on automatically at sunset, or have your thermostat turn off when you leave the house. It’s all about making everyday routines effortless and efficient.

Automations work beautifully with Vivoe Sensors, especially for predictable situations — like lighting up a bathroom as you enter, or turning off lights in rooms that are no longer in use. Subtle, intelligent, and designed to make your home respond naturally to you.

A "Tap to Run" in the Tuya environment is like a custom button you create in the app that, when pressed, makes one or more of your smart devices perform a specific action. For example, you could create a "Good Morning" Tap to Run that, when you tap it, turns on your bedroom lights, opens your smart blinds, and starts your coffee maker all at once.
