From Engineering Roots to Lighting Excellence

Founded in Coventry, England, Maxilux began as a manufacturer of advanced electronic pain control devices — TeNS machines — designed and assembled in our own Warwickshire facility. Our dedication to precision engineering and reliability quickly established us as a trusted name in the field.

In 2001, after the sale of our manufacturing division to a major engineering group in Birmingham, we embraced a new frontier: the emerging world of online lighting technology. What began as a bold shift soon became a thriving enterprise, leading us to specialise in LED innovation and intelligent illumination.

Two Brands. One Vision.

Today, the Maxilux family is made up of two distinct yet complementary brands:

LEDSpace – The destination for all things LED strip lighting, offering exceptional products for creative and professional installations.
VIVOE – Our cutting-edge smart home division, focused on seamless, connected lighting solutions that adapt to you.

A Future Built Together

In 2022, we span out a large division into a separate completely independent company - Maxilux Systems Ltd, is now a specialist provider of industrial IoT lighting systems for modern distribution environments — combining digital precision with practical performance.

The next meaningful milestone came in 2023, when Maxilux Lighting Ltd became an Employee-Owned Trust. Today, every member of our team shares in the company’s success — fostering collaboration, pride, and a shared commitment to excellence.
