Zigbee Devices are showing as Offline
Sometimes when a software update is applied it creates instability in the network connection which leads to devices showing as offline for a while.
The way to resolve this is to go to the settings screen on your hub and switch off the wifi for a few moments. Turn it back on and the issue should be resolved.
Why do I need one?
It acts to tie together all elements in your system becoming an easy to use screen where you can quickly and easily control all devices and scenes.
It also acts as a gateway for Zigbee and Bluetooth devices meaning they can easily be added to your SmartScene.
Great for visitors who may not be familiar with your system - simple to understand and use. It's fully customisable so you choose which icons you want on the home screen.
How do I choose the right one?
It depends on how you want to control items - if you are happy just using your Smartphone, then the basic Hub Z will be fine, however if you want system which can be used by multiple people then you will be better using a Hub with a screen which can be wall mounted, The MAX is larger and can display up to 8 icons on the main screen whilst the MIDI can display 2 making it more suitable for smaller rooms.
What about Alexa?
Both the MAX and MIDI have inbuilt Alexa so can be used to for voice control. Hub Z does not have any built in support.
